About the role
Soul Fire Yoga is looking for an Events & Marketing Manager to promote the studio services across social media, email, and in-studio channels. You'll be the creative and organisational engine behind the events held here, alongside our regular services, and how Soul Fire shows up - both online and in the studio.
What you'll do:
Marketing
Build and execute an annual events and marketing plan
Plan, create, and schedule content across social media (photos, video, reels, stories) on Facebook and Instagram
Write and send email campaigns via Constant Contact (newsletters, offers, schedule updates)
Design promotional materials in Canva for classes, workshops, events, and partners
Create and update in-studio posters, rotating them weekly as events change
Manage and update the studio website
Event Coordination & Operational Support
Add and manage events, and courses in Momence (booking software), and other event platforms
Network and onboard workshop, training, and event leaders
Develop growth strategy and consistency for branded events:
(i.e. quality yoga education and socially impactful initiatives)
Contribute to quarterly teacher meetings and schedule shifts
What we're looking for
(Social Media) Marketing experience is a MUST
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar)
Experience managing social media accounts and creating varied content formats
Organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling marketing and logistics
Genuine enthusiasm for yoga, wellness, and studio culture

At Soul Fire Yoga, we believe that yoga can change lives one class at a time. We understand, and love, that everyone is different - our teachers, staff and students. Even though we all follow different paths, we are all united by yoga.
What is our Energy Exchange program?
At SFS, we know that yoga is for everyone, but not everyone is able to afford our services financially. With so many people in need of the love, truth and strength that can be found through yoga practice, we feel it is imperative to give everyone the opportunity to learn how to become united with their highest self.
Our Energy Exchange program enables us to offer work to those who wish to deepen their personal practice through both Hatha Yoga (physical postures) and Karma Yoga (selfless service in action). These service exchange positions are taken on wilfully, with the knowledge that services provided in exchange for yoga can be a mutually beneficial opportunity, that often gets people started, or started again, on their yoga journey. These positions often come with personal support and mentoring to encourage long-term participation.
Anyone who works here through the EE program at Soul Fire Studios gives their time and skills in service to our yoga community. They love yoga and strive to live yoga. Whether it is making sure our studio space is fresh and clean, working on an office project, flyering, helping out with odd jobs, or snapping special moments, they understand that our community is at the heart of everything we do and that by serving others, we serve our Self.
Energy Exchange opportunities are reimbursed on a case-by-case basis and usually consider the monetary value that specialised skills require for the specific job being done. This means, if you are a self-employed contractor in a particular service, we will both agree before work commences, on the value of the work required and the payment method being established.
Studio Painting
The Studio always needs a fresh lick of paint. If you are experienced with painting and decorating, then this is an excellent way of getting much needed work done AND earning loads of yoga credits. We expect…
That you have painted to a high personal or professional standard.
Ensure you know how to set up and put away your painting space and cleaning brushes, rollers, etc.
Communicate with SFS management by email or in person regarding any issues.
Prepare the space for painting by cleaning, filling, sealing, sanding, etc.
You are in adequate physical fitness to perform the tasks, and wear appropriate clothing and PPE (provided).

Compensation: Yoga Passes/Membership paid against invoice
Flyer Yogi
Who are our Flyer Yogis?
We feel strongly that our Studio provides a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, and want to offer that to as many people as possible. Not everyone enjoys social media, so flyering is a great way to reach everyone local to us who might not see us online. As a representative of the Studio, we expect you to be a bright and shining example of the yogic lifestyle.
As one of our Flyer Yogis, you are responsible for delivering our flyers to each household in a pre-agreed local area so that we can get the word out about who we are, what we offer here, and the benefits it can bring. This position rewards 6 hours of door-to-door flyering in our local area with a 5 Class Pass.
Job specification
This is an energy exchange position
The area to be delivered to is to be pre-agreed between you and the Studio Manager
Hours can be split over several days depending on your availability
Knowledge of the areas local to Soul Fire Studios is necessary
When performing this role you will be representing the Studio - please be friendly and courteous at all times
Communicate any delivery issues to the Studio Manager in a timely manner
We like to work with people who are keen to become active members of our beautiful yoga community
