Soul Fire Studios is a vibrant community of holistic healers and personal development practitioners. When we opened our doors, under our previous incarnation Hot Yoga Sheffield Edgedale in 2017, it quickly became clear that we were so much more than a ‘yoga studio.’ When HYS co-founder Anne Marie took the place on her own and rebranded to Soul Fire Studios in 2019, the potential for this place was truly set in motion.
Now, with 7 years of yoga activity and a boom in collaborations ranging from ongoing studio space rentals and long-term sub-lets for counsellors, bodywork therapists, and even an apothecary, Soul Fire is shapeshifting to make room for greater and more productive creativity.
With that, there is a new Unique Business Opportunity for the right person or people. We are putting the call out for yogi entrepreneurs to take on the Yoga at Soul Fire Studios.

That’s right! Soul Fire Yoga is up for purchase to the right candidate. This is a unique way of passing on the yoga studio ownership whilst keeping the continuity of amazing yoga clientele and passionate teachers in this beautifully created and nurtured space.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who would like to purchase the yoga business separately from the studio rental and leaseholding business. Although there is certainly space for open discussions for all possibilities (to purchase the whole business model), this feels more realistic for someone who would like to own their own yoga business but also maintain supportive relationships with those who currently occupy the space for their businesses.
How will this work?
This is similar to an interview process whereby we are seeking someone interested in purchasing the yoga business here at Soul Fire to manage, develop and potentially expand it, depending on what they desire. As a measure of collaborative growth, it is ideal that the services will continue to run at this location alongside the many industry-supporting events and services that also reside within the premises.
Buying a business…
The yoga business has a monetary value for items that include but are not limited to the location, premises and facilities, operation manuals, sales history, existing clientele & contact list, social media and branding (optional) and the goodwill accumulated from 7 years of active service. You will need to consider your funding sources to make this purchase before expressing interest in this opportunity.
Can I relocate the yoga business?
Although there is an opportunity for you to expand the yoga business from this location, we will start with a basic exclusivity agreement to protect the integrity of the overall business at Soul Fire Studios. We believe there is a very generous opportunity to grow in this position for the right person or people, and will endeavour to support the visions and proposals offered.
Can one or more people apply for this opportunity?
Yes. If you and someone else are interested in creating a yoga business together, you will be able to share this learning and growth opportunity.

When it comes to starting your own business, there are SO many more factors that you may not consider when your energy is needed for the delivery of the services itself. Some individuals are more aligned with the organisation and operations required to keep a business running, others are more aligned with delivering services and keeping the creative flow of the business so that it stays relevant and grows.
This is a unique opportunity because all business owners should know the details needed to make a business work, and having support is very rare indeed. You have the option to be supported by the Director (if needed) to find your feet with running this business as it currently stands if this type of business is new for you. We want to find the right person who can come in with fresh energy, ideas and enthusiasm to make Soul Fire Yoga (or any other brand name) shine. We have a known location, long-term members, and a fabulous space, we just want someone who can OWN what they do well and show US how they rock it.
Why is the business for sale?
As life moves along for everyone, our founder and studio director Anne Marie knows it’s time to step forward in new directions. Being a Managing Director of a yoga studio for 10 years has been an amazing calling, and has driven so much personal and professional growth. While there are so many aspects of this role and business she still loves, she knows there is more to do with the wisdom gained. With the right person at the helm, she would be glad to offer her teaching, training or mentoring support services where needed but equally happy to play in new fields.

About us
At Soul Fire Studios, we believe that yoga can change lives one class at a time. We want to share the benefits of yoga practice and a yogic lifestyle with people who are looking to make lasting changes in their lives. We understand, and love, that everyone is different - our teachers, staff and students. Even though we all follow different paths, we are all united by yoga.
What is our Energy Exchange program?
At SFS, we know that yoga is for everyone, but not everyone is able to afford our services financially. With so many people in need of the love, truth and strength that can be found through yoga practice, we feel it is imperative to give everyone the opportunity to learn how to become united with their highest self.
Our Energy Exchange program enables us to offer work to those who wish to deepen their personal practice through both Hatha Yoga (physical postures) and Karma Yoga (selfless service in action). These service exchange positions are taken on wilfully, with the knowledge that services provided in exchange for yoga can be a mutually beneficial opportunity, that often gets people started, or started again, on their yoga journey. These positions often come with personal support and mentoring to encourage long-term participation.
Anyone who works here through the EE program at Soul Fire Studios gives their time and skills in service to our yoga community. They love yoga and strive to live yoga. Whether it is making sure our studio space is fresh and clean, working on an office project, flyering, helping out with odd jobs, or snapping special moments, they understand that our community is at the heart of everything we do and that by serving others, we serve our Self.
Energy Exchange opportunities are reimbursed on a case-by-case basis and usually consider the monetary value that specialised skills require for the specific job being done. This means, if you are a self-employed contractor in a particular service, we will both agree before work commences, on the value of the work required and the payment method being established.
Studio Cleaners
The Studio Cleaners give the studio space a deep clean every week. You spend time with the space and keep it at its best through regular maintenance and deep cleaning. We would like you to…
Follow a checklist for cleaning in order to ensure all work is completed.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
Communicate with SFS management by email or in person regarding any issues with the physical space or the role.
(e.g. leaks or mold, cleaning products to be replenished, time management etc.)
Undertake deep cleaning of items/areas as needed or listed.
Respond to emails/Slack correspondence
Reporting to: Studio Manager
Compensation: Yoga Passes/Membership paid against invoice, OR NLW for monetary payment.
Studio Painting
The Studio always needs a fresh lick of paint. If you are experienced with painting and decorating, then this is an excellent way of getting much needed work done AND earning loads of yoga credits. We expect…
That you have painted to a high personal or professional standard.
Ensure you know how to set up and put away your painting space and cleaning brushes, rollers, etc.
Communicate with SFS management by email or in person regarding any issues.
Prepare the space for painting by cleaning, filling, sealing, sanding, etc.
You are in adequate physical fitness to perform the tasks, and wear appropriate clothing and PPE (provided).

Social Media Social Butterfly
Who are our Social Butterflies?
Here at Soul Fire Studios, we do things a little differently from others. We have a strong sense of community and offer far more than a movement practice when it comes to our yoga offerings. We want to be able to convey our personality across the various social media platforms that we are active on, and we need someone to help us capture that.
This could be in the form of candid images and videos, testimonials from students, or little snippets of the teacher doing their thing. We are open to suggestions and creative support.
Job specification

To be great in this role, you must be comfortable with initiating conversations with anyone and everyone!
We are most interested in getting content of studio life just before class and just after class, and at our events - so this works very well for someone who wants to be an active yogi.

Flyer Yogi
Who are our Flyer Yogis?
We feel strongly that our Studio provides a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, and want to offer that to as many people as possible. Not everyone enjoys social media, so flyering is a great way to reach everyone local to us who might not see us online. As a representative of the Studio, we expect you to be a bright and shining example of the yogic lifestyle.
As one of our Flyer Yogis, you are responsible for delivering our flyers to each household in a pre-agreed local area so that we can get the word out about who we are, what we offer here, and the benefits it can bring. This position rewards 6 hours of door-to-door flyering in our local area with a 5 Class Pass.
